If you have Zinzco circuit breakers in your panel, most likely your main service panel is Zinzco as well. Instead of replacing a Zinzco circuit breaker it is recommended to replace your Zinzco service panel all together.

Main Breaker Won’t Stay On Anymore

Electrical code tells us that we can only use 80% of the breakers listed amperage, this offsets the heat that is being produced. If your total electrical load exceeds the breaker rating, replacing the main circuit breaker won’t help. You will need to increase the capacity of your electrical panel instead. You can not increase main breaker size unless the electrical panel rating is sized with the main breaker.
