• Malfunctioning equipment can potentially release ignitable concentrations of flammable gas and vapors and also lead to electrical failure.

Any industrial environment that meets any one of these criteria is considered a Class 1 Division 1 Environment and it is so important that electrical equipment such as industrial power and industrial electrical panels, are installed and managed in the correct manner to ensure that you are compliant with health and safety regulations and the risk of explosions is reduced. In many cases, the best way to ensure safety is to limit the amount of electrical equipment in the area, but that is not always possible.
